In order to maintain their shape and to prevent corrosion, the silver ShookS are made of polished Stainless Steel, the gold ShookS are 24K gold plated.
How to use your ShookS:
To add length to your necklace, spiral the o-ring and the spring ring onto opposite ends of a Shook making sure that you follow the bend all the way around so that the necklace is attached to the outer most edge of the Shook. If you want to use two ShookS, again make sure to spiral one end of the necklace all the way to the outside edge of the Shook. Add the other end of your necklace onto another Shook, place the necklace around your neck and hook the ShookS together from there.
Insider Tips:
#1) Give your necklace a gentle tug once you've hooked your ShookS to make sure they are truly fastened together.
#2) To remove your necklace, hold the Shook in one hand and reverse spiral your necklace spring-ring off of the Shook using the other hand.
Caring for your ShookS:
ShookS are best cleaned using a soft, damp cloth followed by a towel dry. If you prefer to soak them in a jewelry cleaning solution, do not exceed a soaking time of 30 minutes and please make sure the solution is approved for 24K gold.
